"BODY OF MINE VR" is the Special Jury Prize winner at SXSW 2023 that places you into the body of another gender for an exploration of gender dysphoria and trans identity.

The experience combines body, face, and eye tracking that allows you to interact with your body with dozens of real audio interviews with transgender interviews, to let you hear, discover, and experience firsthand stories of the trans experience. 

Taylor was the production designer and led a team of 6 to build and assemble this booth over the course of 3 days on site in Austin, TX. The booth measured to about 28 feet wide, by 10 feet tall, by 9 feet deep. Explore the build process below.
